Book #2 finished! This was such a great read. I reached the 11 hour mark of reading today. #toddlermom
I loved how this book uses an acronym to help you remember the skills it teaches. I have read this book many times to help me become a better parent.
This all made SO much sense to me. Now just to put it into practice. This copy is a library book, but I so need my own copy to highlight and make notes in.
I try to read a little bit of this daily and employ some of the things mentioned. This quote really stuck out to me.
I'm finding quite a lot of useful advice in this little book! This is one thing I've noticed I do that I always feel weird about and have noticed my kiddo gets frustrated when things get a little tougher than average.
"The goal is not to make easily performed tasks the basis for our admiration." True that!
Loved this parenting book. It's a fast read about how Danish parents raise kids. It offers a lot of tips about things to implement with your kids, from how to praise them to how the family spends time together. It'll be one I come back to as my daughter gets older.
There were some good pieces of advice in this book. It reinforces the Brave Writer lifestyle encouraged by Julie Bogart aka my Oprah. I read a library copy and decided to order my own. This is the kind of book that begs the use of a highlighter. So-So instead of a pick because it's a very specific type of parenting advice you'll receive and unless you're in the headset to hear it, you're not going to want to read this.
