Current read. This book has been written by Aphra Behn, who has been hailed as the first feminist writer in English literature. It's a typical Restoration comedy designed to entertain the audience as well as bring Aphra Behn's feminist concerns to the fore.
Will share the experience with this book after completion. 😬 ( Also I've been studying for 2 semesters due to this pandemic 💔🐤)

"for I am come from sea, child, and Venus not being/ propitious to me in her own element, I have a world of/ love in store. Would you be good natured and take some on't off my hands."

Gross, yet very funny and raunchy. Oh, the Caroline period.
