Sending out an S.O.S. a la “Empire Records” Mark before I start officially trying to get myself together & organize the #WitchPleaseSwap. I‘ve never put a swap together before! Advice? Do‘s? Dont‘s? Is it difficult to find matches for international participants or nah?
I‘ll take any words of wisdom you‘ve got, general or specific. 🖤 ... & then I‘ll get to work. 😉

hermyknee I had really good luck with my Teacher Care Package Swap. I used Google Forms, but I would take all of the advice @Avanders can give you because I was so stupid I forgot to ask for email addresses! That made it a little difficult. I think you‘ll do a great job with this! You got it! 6y
JoScho I have only organized one swap and I used google forms. I think Elfster does all the work for you but I don‘t think you can create the questionnaire like you can with google. I didn‘t do international so I don‘t know about that. Just match everyone up and send emails. I personally didn‘t take anything into account from the questions-just randomly matches everyone. You got this! Also I have already been window shopping for this one online 🖤 6y

Betty If you use google forms, include an option where the person gets her answers emailed back after filling out the form. 6y

readinginthedark For the Hometown Swap, we used Google Forms and then a spreadsheet for making the matches. Matching international vs domestic was a bit difficult, but luckily there were enough people who selected "No preference" that we could balance it out. We added another layer of difficulty by asking people how much they wanted to send, but I think people will be happier with the result because we did. 6y
readinginthedark I would recommend suggesting a "mail by" date, because I did have some people sending packages really close to time that didn't make it. 6y
