It was one of the most strangest books I have ever read. All throughout the book I'm left with the sense of what the heck am reading and why do I feel so lost and no answers have been given. You feel just as lost as Alex does. When you're done with the book, you're still left with nothing. Not sure if I'll get the second book. It's a little disheartening when you're left with the same questions in the beginning of the book and no answer whatsoever

I'd say that's a pretty accurate description of the world....

"...I could have sworn that the heart - if that was what it was - had swollen, expanded, and grown what looked like tentacles."

Currently reading! This is my first ever adult sci-fi novel and I can't wait to see what this book is about!

Jess and Indiana are obviously as thrilled at my library reservations coming in as I am 😊😊🐶🐶🐶

My OCD fairly bristles at the fact that THE OBSIDIAN HEART BOOK 2 is a full 6mm taller than THE OBSIDIAN HEART BOOK 1. (Great books, though.)
