Mehso-so

Weird! Weird, weird, weird. This book was like trying to hold onto fog, nothing of substance to grasp. No character or place is named, nothing that happens is definitely real. It was bizarrely interesting enough for me to finish it but it‘s a book that made me feel like I‘m not smart enough to understand what it was really trying to say.

AlaMich That cover is gorgeous, though! 4y

A nameless tropical island, with thick jungle and a dormant volcano, is the backdrop for this incredible story.

A young woman, mute and suffering from amnesia, is hospitalised. She hears a voice she believes to be a comatose patient communicating telepathically. He claims he is immortal. He tells her, or rather shows her, his life story and the world beyond her little island. Magic or madness?

An all time favourite.

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian Wow, this sounds really cool! 7y
