Waterfalls
Waterfalls: Book 6 in the Glenbrooke Series | Robin Jones Gunn
7 posts | 5 read
Meredith Graham's job as a children's book acquisitions editor takes her to Glenbrooke, Oregon, where she meets the only man who has ever made her heart leap: Jacob Wilde. Trouble is, his heart doesn't seem to be leaping in response to hers. But then, Jake's a movie star. Out of her league. Still, she can't get him out of her mind. So when circumstances continue to throw the two of them together, Meri decides to pull out all the stops to win her "dream man" -- but all of her schemes can't prepare her for what happens when they meet again in this bestselling former Palisades release, now book six in the new Glenbrooke series by award-winning author Robin Jones Gunn. Fun-loving Meri Graham has never met her match until now? Merediths trip to Glenbrooke , Oregon , takes a decidedly interesting turn when she finds herself sharing a picnic with a man who makes her heart beat in triple time. Pretty, spunky, Meri has never had a problem holding her own with attractive men. But when she discovers her picnic partner is movie star Jacob Wilde, she loses her characteristic cool, puts her foot in her mouth, and ruins everything! The next time she meets Jacob, the tables are turned. Hes written some childrens books and wants her company to publish them. As acquisitions editor, Meris the woman he needs to impress. Shes more than willing to let him work at it. When Meri lands an unexpected walk-on role in a film, Jacob finally begins to see her in a different lightand discovers what it feels like to be starstruck himself.

Home at 1am from another fabulous RJG Book Club. I adore our time together in book and everyday discussion. We read Glenbrooke #6: Waterfalls and got such a kick out of the varying covers represented in our chosen title. ♥️

Pickpick

Started reading in the Florida sun, finished with 2" of snow on the ground back at home in Indiana. I marked this book up really well for discussion with book club. Wonderful story. Loved the Easter eggs for long term RJG readers with tidbits from other series mixed in. "... he's [God] been working extra hard and long on a hero for me who will surpass my expectations."

How to only read 57 pages in 120 minutes... Be easily distracted by overhead traffic...

Went hiking yesterday to this gorgeous waterfall and I really wish I had taken my book. Next time 🌳 📖

TheNeverendingTBR Gorgeous! 😍 It can be quite spooky reading next to a waterfall though because they're loud and you're always wondering if someone is creeping up behind you! 😲😂 4y

A lovely walk around Ingleton Waterfall Walk today has reminded me that it‘s the #littlestthings that count, fresh air from being outdoors and spending time with loved ones.

1 of 9 waterfalls I saw on my birthday hike I did this last Sunday. This one is called Upper North Falls in Silver Falls State Park. There are 10 waterfalls but we didn't hike to Winter Falls since it was just a trickle.

#lyricalapril The last two times that we have been on #holiday, I've inundated you with photos from the Georgia mountains and from the Peak District in England. This is from a trip to California last June. I've visited lots of waterfalls, and McArthur-Burney falls is definitely among the best. I could have sat there all day.

ValerieAndBooks I've been there a few times (my dad had/has family nearby) but it's been many years! Since I was a teenager, actually! Glad it's still gorgeous 😍! 8y
Lynnsoprano @ValerieAndBooks My brother and SIL took us there last June, and also to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Spectacular scenery, and snow in June. It was the first snow I'd seen since moving to Florida in 1976😄 8y
