I've enjoyed several of this author's books, including this one. Incredible how long Escobar was able to evade law enforcement. Columbia as a nation-state is completely hopeless.
Up next on my TBR. Gotta try to finish Killing Pablo before Narcos s.3 releases on Sept 1 and IT before the new movie comes out Sept 7 (~140 pgs left) 😬

pickRemembered that season two of Narcos landed on Netflix last Friday, so I inhaled the first four episodes this afternoon! It's fascinating and riveting, even after having read Bowen's fantastic book and knowing how it will play out.
