Jennifer is struggling to keep Custom Card Creations open for business, so her aunt Lillian snags her a delightful (and cheaper) apartment by the lake. Then Jennifer hears that the apartment is haunted by the ghost of its last occupant�who doesn�t like to share. Meanwhile she also has to put up with the unwanted advances of her downstairs neighbor, her ex-fianc�, and a drunken deputy.
Things only get worse when a tragic accident kills one of her most beloved card club members, Maggie Blake. Then Jennifer receives a handcrafted card from Maggie. Written before she died, it warns that someone is trying to murder her. No one is above suspicion, not even her card club. Jennifer must investigate before she loses another good customer to more grim tidings....
