If you‘re a fan of The Beatles and a thousand page biography doesn‘t sound intimidating, I highly recommend this one. It‘s the first in a planned trilogy and it‘s on sale!

I haven‘t finished one of my favorite books this year: Tune In is amazing! Incredibly thorough, it‘s the first in a trilogy about The Beatles. I can picture them at the Cavern Club!
I started the book this summer and hit the 2/3 mark today. Still hoping to finish before the year is out!
I was reading this last night. After The Beatles played Hamburg, they came back to Liverpool. John came back on December 8, 1960. I‘m sure he had no clue what the next twenty years held for him.
A creative, intelligent, conflicted, difficult, broken individual. I wonder what he‘d have done with his next chapter if he‘d gotten to live it.
It‘s taking me forever to read this book, but only because I bought it for my Kindle and know I‘m not under a library deadline.
I ❤️ the Beatles. I especially ❤️ how this song is used in the wedding scene in Love Actually. Can‘t wait for this year‘s rewatch!

I was so excited when I saw that there were Beatles mini metal bookmarks! That is, I was excited till I saw they meant insects, and not the Fab Four.
Don't get me wrong, ladybugs and bees are lovely. But they're not Beatles! 😁

#LitsyPartyofOne continues! I started this book today and I can tell I'm going to love it. Tune In is almost 1000 pages on early Beatles- up to 1962. There are 2 more volumes in the works. I'm glad I waited a few years to get started; volume 2 isn't expected till 2020!
Only the bottom book is from the library. I snagged the rest at Dollar Tree! I've blown my "no new books" resolution for 2017, but at least I got these cheap! #bookhaul
I hadn't opened my TuneIn app for almost a year but when I did I discovered that since late last year they've had a premium option ($8/mo) which gives you UNLIMITED access (no monthly maximums) to 40,000 audiobooks! I've found 60-70% of what was on my various TBRs there. At the rate I bail, I usually end up using up my Scribd and Audible monthly allotments barely hearing one full audiobook so this is going to change my life! 😍😍😍😍

Though tending more towards factual history than personal backstories, Lewisohn never misses an opportunity to give a sneak peek into the Fab 4's beginnings, hits, misses, triumphs, and disasters. I can't WAIT for the 2nd installment, due (hopefully) in 2020. ❤️📖
Most of my Beatles books are at my parents' place (along with THEIR Beatles books). The two I have here will be joining their fellows whenever I have room in my luggage on my next visit home. The DVDs and the CD box set are mine though 😄
