Saw this fantastic concert version of 1776 last night where all the roles were sung by women. An amazing cast and this remains one of my favorite pieces of American art - a reminder that we all may be flawed and not know what history thinks of us...but we should try all the same. Plus, it was for a great cause - a non profit encouraging young women to get involved in politics (runningstartonline.org). Much needed on many levels!
