I‘ve finished White Teeth, and binge read through remaining 1/2 of Grace, Gold and Glory. Lost my place with Don‘t Be Afraid of The Dark and its back to the beginning with that one. A link glitch is preventing me from checking out Parable of the Sower through the Overdrive app. I‘m so close yet so far from reaching the summit of #pikespeak of the #mounttbrchallenge.

pickI enjoyed this, though it's gotten some ROUGH reviews. To me, it seems that Gabby had a lot to do with the writing of this autobiography, and didn't just tack her name on and let someone else tell her story. She is charming, engaging, and sweet; she is also a fierce little thing who's really impressive both in her sport and as a young woman. Is it without its faults? No. Was it a quick and pleasant read? Yep. #gracegoldandglory #gabrielledouglas
I had to take a break from "A Tale of Two Cities," or else I was going to fall flat asleep. ? I picked this up at work a couple of weeks ago; Gabby is adorable, and one of my favorite recent gymnasts. (My faves will always be the 1996 Atlanta squad, because they're the first team I remember watching!) Can't wait to read this. :) #gracegoldandglory #gabrielledouglas
