Another series complete! I have to say I enjoyed the earlier volumes of this series best. The wordplay & clever references were best in the first few books, and the clues to the mystery became more & more anticlimactic as the series went on. But overall the series is delightful, and this was a fun and fitting conclusion. I enjoyed seeing everything nicely wrapped up in the end for our beloved, plucky Penelope & the endearing Incorrigible children.

A fitting conclusion to a charming middle grade series. I enjoyed the mysteries and getting to know the characters. Most everything is wrapped up in this sixth book, and it was a true treat to watch everything transpire.

I gave myself the extra challenge to read every book in the series for the prompt #CoverChangeMidSeries . I can now say the prompt is completed! #BBRC #MiddleGrade

Only read a few hours today, but I'm happy with my total considering ac issues and #summerreading program prep for tomorrow. Looking forward to the next #24in48!

Took a break from #24in48 to watch Veronica Mars (😲😭🤐) and clean for the ac repair person hopefully coming soon. Back to it with one of my favorite middle grade series!

You guys. An amazing ending to one of my new favorite series. It uses lovely words like "jolly" and "plucky." It has just enough whimsy. A dastardly deed trying to be done throughout the series. Hijinks! Adventure! A curse! So much a winner. I can't wait to read these to my son.
After reading "I'd Rather Be Reading" by Anne Bogel I've taken care to read the acknowledgement page. This one had me in tears.
This is my 4th of my goal of 100 for 2019!

Crazeedi Great review! And you're doing well on your goal too! Hugs to Jacob! 6y

I LOVE these books. And I've finally gotten my hands on the newest and the end to the series. 150 pages in and I'm not a bit disappointed. Truly enjoyable narration and a delightful, "harrowing" story. Can't wait to find out what happens!! Anyone else a fan of the Incorrigibles??

A fun and satisfying end to this middle reader series. This last book could have benefited from some more rigorous editing in the beginning chapters (it felt like every sentence included a long parenthetical aside such as this one that kept pulling me out of the story), but once the plot got going it was highly enjoyable.

One of my all time favorite kids series (try it on audio) for snarky humor with a heart! Loved the ending, but sad there is no more!! Maybe a Giddyap Rainbow spin-off? Swanburne Academy for Poor Bright Females forever!!!

I loved this final book in The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place series! All of the mysteries & unanswered questions of the saga are finally resolved in a splendid way. The characters are lovable & hilarious in their interactions & situations. The #audiobook has a new narrator since Katherine Kellgren passed away before the final book‘s audio version could be recorded. Maryrose Wood‘s heartwarming dedication to her brought tears to my eyes.

BookaholicNatty Oh this looks like a really good book!! I definitely have to check this series out! Thanks for sharing it!! 6y
