I'm not good with poetry. My brain rarely has the patience for it. But I do want to improve and Poetry in America is one of my favorite ways to do that. For #NationalPoetryMonth you can stream all episodes for free at https://www.poetryinamerica.org/tv-series/. If you subscribe all seasons are available on PBS Passport also. And LitHub announced this PiA marathon screening on the World channel, if you have access to that.
Happy Poetry Month!
@TheBookHippie created a poetry book for LMPBC if anyone else is interested- group N. Link on her page (someday I will know how to do links correctly)
If you‘ve always wanted to be part of a book club and are looking for book buddies LMPBC is a great activity- there are spots open in topics or create your own and ask anyone if they are interested! This is one of my favorite activities ever.
Every time I mention that I don't really "get" poetry, it's usually to someone who really does get it; and the first thing they do is recommend or even give me a book of poetry. That really doesn't help. So, knowing that there is a book of poetry on the #litsygoespostalOG horizon, I decided to start doing my homework! While I cringe at the "For Dummies" moniker, the contents upon skimming this book actually look to be exactly what I'm looking for!
