Boy am I glad I bought these two together. I didn't have to wait to see how these two make up and get back together. I really liked the story and characters. Did anybody else find the dialogue odd? I don't even know how to explain it - choppy maybe? It wasn't odd enough for me to not enjoy the book though. I bought the next book in the series and am interested to see what she does with different characters. #romantsy
Now reading. Honestly, I hate the title. But from the description, this should be right up my alley. #romantsy #currentlyreading
This one straddles the line between pick and so-so for me. To be honest I almost bailed in the first chapter. The plot set up was clunky and there was some slut shaming going on. However I still got sucked in. While I still had some issues, I have to admit that the pages flew by and I know I will seek out the sequel. I will warn you that it ends with a cliffhanger.
And now for something completely different...
Today's Audible selections. They were 2 for one credit!! I couldn't pass it up.
And...Have I said I read widely???? 😉
So, listening to this audiobook I absolutely hated the slut shaming of other women in this book. To the point that I actually took away one star from the review. That being said, I still got sucked in and ended up liking the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5
I needed something light after a memoir about drug addiction.
