My #litsypartyofone is all about self care, so I treated myself to a Broadway matinee of War Paint! The ever fabulous Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole play the twentieth century cosmetic industry titans and rivals, Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden. They're every bit as wonderful as I expected them to be! ? (and that scrim! ?)

PS: It's freezing in this theatre! The usher's explanation? "Patti gets hot" ?

swishandflick @MicheleinPhilly Right?! Didn't bother me, I always bring a sweater to the theatre. It was the ladies next to me that wouldn't stop complaining, and the usher cracked me up 😄 7y

Suet624 Just to give you some perspective on how great your life is compared to mine: I had my snow tires removed today and then laid on the couch because my Lyme Disease is flaring up and I can't seem to move. 😀😀 I'm so enjoying following your travels. ❤️ 7y

Hobbinol @Suet624 I confess I've had a fantastic week, but I'm headed back to land made even more humid by shameless Trump supporters and fellow employees who look at me with horror when I tell them I vacationed in NYC!!! I truly hate you feel so bad. How long does that ugly little tick head circulate through your system?! How horrible! Hope you feel better today. 7y

Suet624 @Hobbinol I am so sorry that your daily experience is like that. It makes me doubly happy that you reward yourself with such beauty and culture. I've been treating for 3 years now. Because It was discovered late, I'll never fully be rid of the "bugs". All I can do is try to limit their growth and keep a strong immune system. No sugar (that's what they grow on), no gluten, no dairy. I'm better than I was but still get laid low unexpectedly. 7y
