His house was not very zippy or cool, but it was very safe.

This would be fun to do retelling with. Also, comparing and contrasting different adaptations.

Another adaptation of the three little pigs story. This version takes a fun spin on the traditional story. Taking place in outer space, three little aliens go on their way to find a planet of their own. It holds onto the themes and similarities of the original story.

“The Three Little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot” written by Margaret McNamara and illustrated by Mark Fearing is an adorable F RA book. It‘s based on the classic tale of Three Little Pigs but in space with aliens and robots! This book has not won an award but it should for its creativity. The UDL principle that would be used would be 1.1 which is offer ways of customizing the display of information since this story is take on the original tale.

carolinem ESOL strategy 11 which is placing language into meaningful context which is what this story is doing. https://www.kidssoup.com/craft-and-resource/story-time-the-three-little-aliens-a... The Three Little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot (TL) by Margaret McNamara and illustrated by Mark Fearing is a lovely book. This book retells the classic fairy tale “The three little Pigs” in a very interesting and creative way. I think this would be great to use for S to students in the classroom. #lae3414sp19

KAdudu The UDL principles include 5.2; use multiple tools for construction and composition. The EL strategy 14 works well; Simplify your speech by making it slower and redundant.

This is my absolute favorite book to read during storytime. The language is absolutely perfect for reading aloud and it never fails to grab the kids' attention. I have to stop myself from reading it too often!
