This is my review for a book I just finished. I miss #westeros and #gameofthrones. I‘ve spent all year reading the books and I‘m sad that I‘m caught up with everyone else. I loved reading about the magic and the dragons and the characters. The author made me care about all of these characters so hopefully, he‘s working on the next book.

Have you ever wondered if dragons could really exist? How similar are napalm and wildfire? Could a person die from a golden crown a la Viserys? Questions, answers with a healthy dose of humor. GoT addicts need to read this!

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Haha! I love these types of books. 6y
Books_Wine_Repeat @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I‘m convinced more than ever than GRRMartin is a genius and GoT is the best thing ever. Also, science! 🙌😏 6y

My son's current reads are the bottom 3, mine are the top 3. I'm also reading book 3 of the Demon Cycle series on my Kindle. He reads way more nonfiction than I do!

This was a nice quick read.

The topics aren‘t covered in depth, but it is a good look into potential parallels between the fantastical things in Game of Thrones (Books and Show) and the real world.

Is it possible for a reptile the size of a dragon to fly?
Can a weapon be as sharp as Valyrian steel?
Could we make wildfire?

My fave sections covered virgin reptile births, sword tempering, zombies, inventing languages and genes ☺️

Of course, there‘s no way to know for certain if this dragon-fear theory is correct. But I must make a mental note to never show vervet monkeys that Disney animated Robin Hood, where all the villains we know and love from Sherwood Forest are played by lions, pythons and vultures. It‘s sad to know they will never be able to relax and enjoy Friar Tuck heartily portrayed with gusto by a badger

If you love game of thrones, then you have to read this book, got it as a birthday present, love how it explains about everything from dragons to white walkers but not only that but is there similar things in our world to them. Really made me laugh in places, will be a book to read over and over
