I‘m stuck at home with the flu, but I spent the morning reading this wonderful #middlegrade book by Danielle Davis! It‘s really sweet- and yarn bombing is part of the story! ☺️

I got an Amazon gift card as a holiday gift, so of course I spent it all on books! Here‘s my first #bookhaul of #2018 ☺️ Two out of three are for the #ReadHarder challenge and #LitsyAtoZ 👍🏽

At first, it was hard to get into but the Bee's voice was so funny and adorable that I continued. In the end, I enjoyed the story, both of Zinnia's and the Bee's, very much.

It's dinner time! Seasoned pan-fried shrimp with fresh avocado, accompanied by Diet Coke. Yum!

Just finished this delightful middle-grade novel about a 7th grader who finds herself the hive to a colony of bees, which truthfully is the least of her problems. Getting in trouble on the final day of school + a newly missing older brother + a stand-offish mom + a quirky new neighbor + an aging rescue dog - her old BFFs = the beginning of a summer Zinnia might want to forget. Perfect for a quick read for any age!
