I fear my pick will be the weakest link in the chain. I don't know what to think about this book. I went into it thinking fluffy chick-lit. I did not like the narrator at all. She was flawed, but not in a well-written, gee I can identify kind of way. She was flawed in a will you just shut up kind of way. I'm looking forward to thoughts from #GroupK.

I originally read this novel on holiday back in 2003. I re read it recently and found it to be entertaining chick lit. A little more high brow than the average and both a number of laugh out loud and poignant moments make this an enjoyable light read. 3.5/5

I think a lot of us can relate to the quote above! Minus the husband for me though 😉
