Yesterday‘s #BookHaul from the Wildlife Rehabilitation #booksale (top left) and 8th Street Books (bottom right). The book sale didn‘t have prices. Instead they accepted $ donations so I gave $2.00/book. At the bookstore, most books are now 80% off and children‘s books are 90% off! It‘s a bittersweet moment to get such a great deal at the expense of losing a favourite local source of #usedbooks. The new owner‘s focus is on comics & collectibles.

#Thanksgiving weekend has been so busy I haven‘t had a chance to post but I hope to get caught up soon. We paid a visit to Centennial Books yesterday & I finally found the elusive 3rd book of SRD‘s “The Man Who” series... but of course this comes months after I gave up my search & ordered it online cuz I‘m lucky like that 😂 After lots of digging through the crowded #SFF shelves we left with a lovely little #BookHaul of 6 books! #UsedBooks

I almost forgot to share our #minibookhaul! My hubby & I picked these up for 50¢ each from the book exchange shelf at the grocery store. #usedbooks

Super happy I was able to get this bind up of the Lord of the Rings for really cheap at Half Price Books. Officially ready for the #LotrBuddyRead for the rest of the year 🧝‍♀️

Another #BookHaul! My hubby had to go pick up some books for his cousin (The 3 Investigators, bottom left) so of course I tagged along! We picked up two Conan books while we there. Then we checked out 8th Street Books because we heard all books are 50% off because sadly, it seems the new owner wants to sell them off ☹️ Hubby got a Python book & I got a Zelazny book. Minerva had to check them out & actually started licking one of them! #UsedBooks

Picked up a couple more books from the #bookexchange shelf. Not only have I never read anything by Agatha Christie, this is the first of her novels to grace my shelves. I haven‘t read anything by the authors of the tagged book either, although I do own a Julian May book (Jack the Bodiless) and Snow Shadow by Andre Norton (both #TBR, of course!) #usedbooks #minibookhaul

Certainly not the best photo but I went to a library book sale today. And even tho I got there three minutes after it opened resellers had already taken boxes out 😕 but I did find these. Spent 8 dollars. Most excited for Sunburn and Idaho I think, it has such a pretty cover. Anyone read any of these?

Picked up these beauties at the Saratoga Book Warehouse, where every single book is $1 and paying is by the honor system — you put cash in a lockbox as you leave. The three rooms of books are not organized in any discernible way, so shopping there is like a treasure hunt! 📚
