Mehso-so

Meh. A YA from the mid-90s that reads more like MG now, this is the start of a HF/slight romance series centering on the inn. Bridie leaves Scotland for Marblehead, Massachusetts, to follow her decade-gone parents. Her Catholic faith and healers‘ skills clash with the Puritans there and she struggles to find her place. #52Books #aboutsecrets

Day 26: Childhood Reads. I remember reading all of the Fear Street I could get my hands on, this whole Wild Rose Inn romance series (and going to the bookstore the day each next one was released, the first time I did that), and laughing at all the Charlie Brown books. This explains so much about the kind of adult I grew up to be. Oops. #riotgrams
