Sleek sexy and fun. Susan Sizemore, author of Primal Desires AFTER THREE THOUSAND YEARS OF ONE-NIGHT STANDS, A GIRL JUST WANTS A LITTLE MORE. Working for Satan is a hot gig. The Devil really does wear Prada, and Lily can sport all the dazzling fashion she desires, eat all the fabulous food she craves, and hang for all eternity with her three demon girlfriends. But serving up bad boys to the fiery pits of Hell is just getting . . . lonely. Lily gives the jerks, the creeps, and the liars the best (and last) night of their lives, but shes tired of waking up to a pile of ashes. She wants a guy who will stick around. BUT A MYSTERIOUS MAN IS TURNING UP THE HEAT. . . . Nathan Coleman is a devilishly handsome, laid-back P.I. who wants to ask Lily a few questions about a missing man. But someoneor somethingwants Lily and her friends dead, and Nathan seems to know more than hell admit to. Can a sweet-talking mortal and a girl from Hell find true love? From the Paperback edition.

Mehso-so

This one really wasn't for me. Clearly part of a series, there is neither romantic resolution nor resolution of the mystery by the end of this book. And I guess I just don't connect with characters describing the fashion everyone is wearing and giving dating advice about what not to tell their boyfriends. My lack of connection to this book was also that I was hoping for something more like the Succubus Blues series by Richelle Mead. #romanstsy

Zelma I ❤️ the Succubus Blues series! I've gotten the side eye for recommending that one but people usually end up loving it too. 😆 7y
ScientistSam @Zelma we clearly just have good taste 😉 7y

Used bookstore haul last weekend! Hot in Hellcat Canyon was so good I needed to own a paper copy. #keeper #romantsy.

Curious about the other two - I have a little boy in mind for the Pratchett spin-off

Soubhiville I read that Pratchett last year. It's silly and funny, a boy would probably love it. 7y
BookThingo I loved Hot in Hellcat Canyon, too. Your post has reminded me to look up the release date for the next book! 7y

ScientistSam @BookThingo I need to read the others she's written that are already out! 7y
BookThingo @ScientistSam I love her Pennyroyal Green series. There are a lot of books, so I loved some more than others, but it's a pretty solid collection. 7y
EloisaJames I love Hellcat Canyon too--can't wait for the next one! 7y
