Another trip to Target and another book in my shopping cart. I blame this mostly on having it catch my eye three times and partially on a really sucky end to my work week. I‘m also a sucker for a book about a cat.

#TBRtemptation post 9! Similar to the just-shared Bob's story, and Dewey's (an old #TBRtemptation suggestion), this is the story of Tabor, a hurt, starving, scruffy cat, who is found by Michael, a a homeless and depressed alcoholic. They become a bit of a celebrity pair in Portland, Oregon, and then hit the road for places like California and Montana, surviving blizzards, bear, & the like. Then there's a reunion. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
Oregon is the only western state where it isn't illegal to walk on highways.
I live in NYC, so I see people tieing up their dogs outside of stores all the time. And when I do, I wait outside for them to come out, and then I warn them about the dangers of doing this. It only takes a few seconds to steal a dog, but I've had to wait as long as 20 minutes for people to come out of stores. How the hell can people be so trusting? It doesn't matter what type of neighborhood it is; do not EVER leave your dog unattended in public!
My library haul this afternoon.
