Left Drowning
Left Drowning | Jessica Park
Weighted down by the loss of her parents, Blythe McGuire struggles to keep her head above water as she trudges through her last year at Matthews College. Then a chance meeting sends Blythe crashing into something she doesn't expect--an undeniable attraction to a dark-haired senior named Chris Shepherd, whose past may be even more complicated than her own. As their relationship deepens, Chris pulls Blythe out of the stupor she's been in since the night a fire took half her family. She begins to heal, and even, haltingly, to love this guy who helps her find new paths to pleasure and self-discovery. But as Blythe moves into calmer waters, she realizes Chris is the one still strangled by his family's traumatic history. As dark currents threaten to pull him under, Blythe may be the only person who can keep him from drowning.

I definitely enjoyed it but it‘s a hard read. These kids go thru a lot. Bonus, It is free on kindle unlimited.

[DELETED] 206653737 Curious what you think, its on my TBR. 7y
Bostonmomx2 @bookish22 I finished this yesterday and ended up loving it. It‘s very sexually explicit and quite heavily emotional. If you‘re okay with those 2 things, I‘d recommend it. I‘m reading book 2 now. 7y
[DELETED] 206653737 Thanks for the review, I‘ll have to try to bump it up on my ever growing tbr. 7y

I loved everything about this book. I listened to it on audible and found myself finding any excuse to listen to more. I didn't want it to end. The characters became a part of me when I read this and I feel like now that it's over I am going to have the worst book hangover ever! I love this author and this book was seriously awesome. I can't recommend it enough!

I wanted to like this story more than I did. It just didn't do it for me. I liked a secondary character more than the main characters.

RandomBookMuses Sorry you feel that way, Rick. You're free to unfollow us. We love to read and often comment and respond to posts. With five of us we've read loads of books...So sad that someone responds to our time to post our reviews like this...already negativity happening here. How sad 9y

KikiLovesBooks What the heck is the point of social media if there is no media to look at? Keep posting my friends. What a strange thing for an author to say to readers!!!! 9y
