So, this is my second book of 2020...I am off to a good start. This one was much better than #1. It is also a YA novel. However, this one was engaging and the characters were by far more realistic. The idea of a young girl getting drawn into a cult was one that drew me in and made me want to keep reading. The romance that was present was not cringe-inducing. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I feel like my students would as well.
