After my daughter and I binge watched the entire Little House on the Prairie series we moved on to the Waltons which we also enjoyed immensely. So naturally I had to read Spencer‘s Mountain on which the Waltons is loosely based. This book was also a delight, surprisingly funny and even a bit racy. It was fun to spend some more time with characters I‘ve grown to love.

Sace I love LHOTP and the Waltons as well. I read this book a loooong time ago. I wonder if I could locate my copy again. 5y

Horrible day off, so I‘m in my pajamas, waiting on my tea with lemon and honey to be done steeping, and taking a trip to Schuyler, Virginia without leaving my couch. Time to disappear for a while.
