This was silly, fun, and just what I needed! 😁 I figured out how to send ebooks from my Libby app to my Kindle, and I'm very excited.

I'm starting my book club book with only 4 days until we get together to talk about it. 😅 I'm pretty sure I'll finish it in time. It looks fun! 😁
My husband and I went to see this play tonight because a friend of mine played the character Estelle. It was a fascinating play and we loved it! So I figured I'd log it here to remember a fun night.
I enjoyed Bride more than I thought I would! There were a couple of tropes that annoyed me, but overall, it was a fun read and just what I needed. It kind of gave me Patricia Briggs vibes, but more playful and romantic.
I loved reading Ruth Chew books when I was a kid, and I recently came into an instant collection. Isn't the cover art so good?! I can't wait to share them with my daughter! 😊❤️
I would give this 3.5 stars out of 5. It wasn't bad for a book I bought purely because I like the cover (I collect VHS tapes). There were a few things that kind of annoyed me, author repeating some narratives, and every time she mentioned a television, she had to call it a "tube tv." It's not a big deal, just something that bugged me. But I was hooked to the story and probably would recommend it to someone interested in family related mysteries.
I love the tradition of telling ghost stories for Christmas. So, every year, I buy a book from the series Seth's Christmas Ghost Stories. They're short, spooky, and I love the illustrations!
I'm not very far in this book yet, but I love it so much! There's so much I relate to. I wish I could've been friends with Phoebe when I was 15.
I stopped by my local library to fax something, I didn't know people still faxed things. 😂 And look what I found on the booksale cart for $0.25!
Someone donated a bunch of John Saul's books to the bookstore I work at. I've never read him before but this sounds so fun and creepy! Plus I love the cover art. 😁
I'm about halfway through and I just love Mary Stewart's books. They're such calm and comforting books with a little romance, a little mystery and great settings. I would happily hang out in this book.
Another year gone and another stack of books to read! 😁 This is my #bookflood haul from my sister @LitDrivenGirl and once again she went above and beyond! We're very competitive with our gift giving. 😂 She got me so many that I've been wanting forever but I love when she gets me books I've never heard of! Happy reading and New Year!
It's that time of year again, time to put away my Halloween decorations. ☹️ But I'm comforted by finding this lovely poem while cleaning, illustrated by my favorite illustrator Trina Schart Hyman. 😊 It's from the October 1986 issue of the Cricket magazine.
I am loving this book! I will definitely be reading more in the series, especially the Ray Bradbury edition. It's a quick and fascinating read, you get to know Mr. Rogers from his perspective. I'm reading while working at my bookstores sidewalk sale! 😁
Book mail is the best kind of mail! ? "The Rock From the Sky" is an early review book from @LibraryThing thank you so much! It looks so good! I saw the preview for the "Sweet Tooth" tv show and thought it looked good, so why not buy it? ? Have you read it? Are you looking forward to the tv show?

My family's Christmas was a little wonky last year, and we weren't able to celebrate together. So I've been getting presents periodically and I'm not mad about it. 😎 These are from my Mom and they look so good!!!
My sister and I have been celebrating our own version of #jolabokaflod for three years now. We joke about who will "win" book flood by giving the most amount of books, and my sister clearly won. ? She got me way too much and I have no idea where they're all going! So instead of cleaning and organizing maybe I should just pick one and read. ? Which book should I read first???

I just discovered this series, Seth's A Ghost Story for Christmas, and now I must find them all! 😍 I love the idea of reading ghost stories around Christmas time and I adore little books! This will be my first Daphne Du Maurier book and definitely not the last. 😁
Well, here we go! My husband has been wanting me to read this for years. We watch the movie every Halloween, and everytime we watch it he wants to tell me spoilers from the book. ? So I'm reading it now! I'm really curious about "Doctor Sleep". Should I read that next?
I got some fun mail from Raven Book Store in Lawrence, Kansas! 😁 I found them through Instagram and I wish I lived closer! #savetheusps #ravenbookstore
We were giving these away for #independentbookstoreday and there are still some left! I'd happily mail them for free, within the U.S.A. sorry. They're signed by Gene Luen Yang! 😁 #giveaway #freebie #signedbytheauthor
My sister and I treated ourselves to some new books! 😁 I'd been on the hunt for The Cottingley Secret, but I didn't know anything about Ghostbuster's Daughter! 😆 Which should I read first?
I'm taking part in #thesealeychallenge and so far I haven't been doing so well. But I found this audiobook on Hoopla and I'm jumping in! 😁
I'm shifting books at the shop today and rediscovered this author! I've always enjoyed watching the Richard Pryor movie, Brewster's Millions and when I found out it was a book first I thought, even better! Are you a fan? Have you seen the movie? I think there was a black and white version made in the 40's as well.
I can't tag the book I'm posting about so I picked one written by the same author. I scored this awesome book through Kickstarter and I can't wait to read it! It's autographed by Kyle Starks and came with stickers, a temporary tattoo, and a cool custom basketball card! 😁 I'm not really into sports but through in Dracula and I'm hooked! 😆 #kickstarter #oldhead #kylestarks
I was trying to be good, because I've been doing way too much online shopping, but one of my favorite vintage sellers on Instagram was having a book sale! 😆 The Peace of the Solomon Valley has a box type slip case, and the book is pretty inside I might have to post more pictures!
"She wondered why men needed so much space when their answers to everything were always 'no.'"
I'm only 20 pages in and already loving this book! ?
A seller I follow on Instagram had a vintage children's book sale and this was one of the books she was selling. I didn't claim it in time though. But I'm glad I didn't because I ended up finding it for a lot cheaper! 😎 Btw if you like poetry I read a poem everyday on my Instagram stories...😏 I even take recommendations! My username is the same as my litsy one! 😁
I treated myself to a new book! 😁 It sounds so interesting and my husband wants to read it after me. 😊 I hope you're having a good Sunday!
I keep forgetting to share these! My parents surprised me with these awesome stickers and pin for my birthday earlier this month. 😁 The artist is RatherKeen and I love everything in their shop! 😆 #bookishloot
I've been looking forward to reading this for awhile now. I think today is the perfect day for it! 😁 My husband's reaction to the cover and title was priceless! 😂
All done!!! 😁 I finished my #24in48readathon at 11:15 pm and I'm beat! I started feeling like I was going crazy at about hour 15 but these are crazy times! 😂 Thank you @24in48 for having the readathon!
#stayhome24in48
I'm taking a break from my heavier books for an adventure! I love these brothers and their dad! 🥰 And my awesome husband made me some peppermint tea in my favorite mug! #stayhome24in48 #24in48readathon
Here is my book stack for this weekend's #24in48readathon 😁 I am so excited and ready to read as much as I can! Two of the books in my stack (the one I tagged and The Winter Witch) I've already started but I may take a break from. I tried to include women authors because it's still March, and at least one E-book so I can just grab my phone in the morning and start reading! 😎 Thank you @24in48 for having the readathon!!!!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! ❤️🍀❤️🍀 I hope you're all having a great day!!! 😁
Sorry I'm posting another movie poster but this was amazing!!!! I am very amped up right now and will need to watch something light and fluffy. 😆
I'm cataloging books at the bookstore and had to share this cover! Added bonus, check out the author and illustrator photos. 😏❤️ Rob Howard looks like Ron Howard's hip older brother. 😂 #coverlove
Oh my goodness! Just saw The Rhythm Section with @LitDrivenGirl at our local theater and what a wild ride! I didn't read it but she did, and unfortunately we were the only ones there so you know I was bugging her with questions! 😏😁😆
I am loving this book, but I knew I would! 😁 I'm so glad I got it for Christmas!!! I hope someday soon I can go to a live show! 😍
Well I didn't do so well with #24in48readathon I finished with 16:58:38. I wish I'd made it to 17 hours but oh well I had fun! 😁 My sister's and I rented a hotel room together, bought yummy snacks and read all weekend! These are the books I was able to finish within the 48 hours and they were all great reads! #24in48 @24in48
I reached my Goodreads reading goal last night! 😆🎉🥳 60 books for 2019!!! My top 5 favorite books of the year are (in no particular order) Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire, Giant Days #1 by John Allison, My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me by Mariko Tamaki, and The Way of the House Husband #1 by Kousuke Oono! Next year I'd like to read more nonfiction, horror, and poetry! #2020bookgoals
I know how he feels ☹️ I'm feeling that Christmas debt right now 😂 but no regrets!
I'm working the bookstore today and reading this on my down times 😊 it's very sweet! I haven't been doing to good this year reading my 12 Christmas books but oh well. 😁
#bookhaul from the weekend! I wish I'd found Witch in October but I'm excited I found it in the wild! Also very curious about the Cannibals of Indiana pamphlet. 😉
It's been awhile since I read a book that I stayed up late reading because I didn't want to stop reading. This book broke that streak! I loved it!
The whole paragraph is awesome, but my favorite is the last part. "You need not know me if you are ashamed of me, and I won't ask you for a penny; so, if I never do succeed in anything, I shall have the immense satisfaction of knowing I am under no obligation to anyone." ?
I'm taking a little reading break before I tackle the dishes. 😜 This little book is so sweet! I'm reading it for book club, we're supposed to read something by or about Louisa May Alcott. I love her! ☺️
This book was so much fun and I can't wait to read the next one! 😁 I wish I didn't read manga so fast because I got this from the library and now I have to wait for them to order the rest of the books. 😭
I found this book while cataloging and decided it needed to come home with me. 😎 It says it was a Broadway hit but I've never heard of it. Sounds scandalous! 😉
