The Charley Davidson Series
The Charley Davidson Series | Darynda Jones
8 posts | 6 read | 2 to read
Darynda Jones has garnered a strong following with her series starring Grim Reaper Charley Davidson. Here together for the first time in a stunning eBook bundle are the fourth, fifth, and sixth novels in the New York Times bestselling paranormal series: Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet Since Charley's last case went so awry, she has taken a couple of months off to wallow in self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above . . . or at least get dressed. In the meantime, the sexy, sultry son of Satan, Reyes Farrow, is out of prison and out of Charley's life. But she's having a hard time staying away...Just when life was returning to normal, Charley is thrust back into the world of crime, punishment, and the devil in blue jeans. Fifth Grave Past the Light Things get complicated for Charley when Reyes Farrow, moves in next door and then becomes her main suspect in an arson case. Charley has vowed to stay away from him until she can find out the truth...but then dead women start appearing in her apartment, one after another, each lost, confused, and terrified beyond reason. When it becomes apparent that her own sister, Gemma, is the serial killer's next target Charley has no choice but to ask for Reyes' help. But he wants something in return. Charley. All of her, body and soul. And to keep her sister safe, it is a price she is willing to pay. Sixth Grave on the Edge When the FBI file on Reyes' childhood happens to land into Charley's lap, she can't help herself: She opens it...and then the real fun begins. First, Charley finds a naked corpse riding shotgun in her car. Then, a man loses his soul in a card game. Throw in a Deaf boy who sees dead people, a woman running from mobsters, and a very suspicious Reyes, and things can't get any worse for Charley. Unless, of course, the Twelve Beasts of Hell are unleashed...

Holy shit, I don't think I've done one of these in a while 😂

1. Probably Charley Davidson. Or the Fever series
2. Greys? Maybe. Big Bang Theory? Honestly I have way too many to pick just one. I've been with Greys the longest though
3. Ummmm that's baseball, right? Probably answers that question 😂😂 #IDontDoSports
4. Thankgiving!!!!! Turkey, pie, veggies, gravy and a tiny ham for my Turkey hater boy
5. No?

FantasyChick Hey @Clwojick Does any post count if I tag it? Or just the themed one? #scarathlon #teamslaughter 5y
Clwojick I‘d count this one for a participation point. Basically as long as it‘s to do with books, reading, Halloween, or our team theme. 5y
FantasyChick @Clwojick Awesome 😈 5y
KarynGood Enjoy your Thanksgiving Dinner!!!! 5y
Slajaunie Fever series was awesome! 5y

1. At the risk of sounding like a broken record....still one of my favorite series to recommend
2. Ummm which was most recent? It or Beauty and the Beast? My cheap ass doesn't go to the theater often 😂
3. Bbq's hotdogs. I don't care how they are made. Don't care what's in them. You put those bastards on the grill and cover them in BBQ sauce....I'm all over it!
4. Lots? I honestly have no idea
5. 🖤❤🖤❤🖤

1. Toss up between the Charley Davidson series and Fever. Though I am hardcore into Veronica Speedwell right now so my mind might change
2. Relish
3. Ummmm....everything? 😂 I am absolutely terrified of open water. And rollercoasters. And zombies. And dolphins.
4. 1 brother and 1 sister
5. Off I go!
#friyayintro @howjessreads

ShananigansReads I cannot fathom how anyone thinks roller coasters are fun. I‘ll stay on the ground too. 5y
theresidentromantic 🙋 Dolphins? 5y
FantasyChick @Bookjunkie57 right? I don't even like the kiddie ones. I went on a small one once and played "I might survive if we fly off here" the whole time. I'm a blast at amusement parks ? 5y

FantasyChick @theresidentromantic it is my strangest fear and I have no idea why. I am petrified of them. My sister used to collect ornaments and they were all of dolphins in a circle standing on their tails. Freaked me right out like they were doing some messed up water ritual. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy didn't help. Completely irrational but I've always had the fear 🤷‍♀️ 5y
theresidentromantic @FantasyChick Gotcha, ceramic figures do weird things to people lol My best friend had a Shirley Temple one and when we shut off the lights, it's face was like flashlight style in a spotlight. Like noooope. I think I hid it in a drawer once 😅😅 5y
wanderinglynn Love Charley! 👍🏻👍🏻 5y
robinb Veronica Forever 💙💙💙🤣 And I totally understand about amusement parks...totally! 🤣🤣🙋🏻‍♀️ 5y

1. Most of the time. I used to but I‘m too lazy now.
2. A polar bear, a penguin🐧, a koala🐨, and a sloth. (No sloth emojis 😔) They would all get along wonderfully but I‘ve never considered names.
3. Charley Davidson though being her friend is dangerous so maybe I should rethink this.
4. The Carpathian Mountains from Christine Feehan‘s dark series (again dangerous for humans)
5. Will do 💙💙💙

wanderinglynn Ah, your menagerie needs names! 😉 Charley would be a fun friend—I love her smartass comebacks. But you‘re right, maybe a bit too dangerous. 😂 Thanks for playing! 💜 6y

1. My favorite series ever and I ALWAYS recommend!
2. Every morning. It drives me nuts to have it unmade.
3. I think it was around 3 degrees. Spring is coming? 🤞
4. Don't judge me. Fried balongna, mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce and cheese on a sandwich. I know it's weird and people are grossed out when I eat it (which isn't often) but I ❤ it!
5. Will do!

These books are amazing! Jones has become my 3rd favorite author. Charley is an awesome character, she is strong and sassy, but normal even though she is the grim reaper. And she falls for the son of satan, who is like gorgeous, i found a 2nd literary boyfriend. I love Reyes! Every one of these books i have read in 2 days, i can't put them down, they are just so good! Just LOVE LOVE LOVE these!
