pickOWEN by Tony Riches is a thrilling read. I have always been fascinated by the Tudors and going back to where it all started was a real treat. Riches writing style is engaging and very easy to read. He combined the historical facts that we know and the fictional elements effortlessly. Owen was a entertaining story full of twist and court intrigues, I highly recommend this book.
Book #16 of 2021. This one was ok... I needed a break from Wolf Hall. I appreciate some of the backstory of Owen Tudor, but the writing style was a little dry. I will say this: I‘ve started ‘Jasper,‘ and so far it‘s better. 🤷♀️
pickAs a Ricardian, a challenge to read the other side, but I loved this book. I found it a great insight into a fascinating character in Owen, and a side of a love affair I've only read from the female perspective before.
Looking forward to reading the rest in the series.
