Great author.
Lisa Wingate has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I have loved everything I‘ve read by her and this is no exception. It‘s a book about family, love, stories and the people of Appalachia.

This book. It‘s been a while since I‘ve been sucked in like this. I first got it as an audiobook. Then, I got hooked and found myself listening to it while doing things around the house. Then, it was Friday, and I knew I couldn‘t take it anymore so I got the book version. I can‘t put my finger on it, but I fell in love with Jen. Wonderful book. Looking forward to more by this author
This book was so good. A story of Appalachia, how many multi racial and ethnic groups that live there. The story of History, hope and books.
I tried this on audiobook and had to bail today. I just did not care for the narrator for the story part and could not keep focused. I see this has great reviews in various places, so I will keep my eye out for the book itself. I am weird with audiobooks. I have to really work at them sometimes. The wrong narrator or content can make it impossible for me to focus.
