Just Another Week in Suburbia
Just Another Week in Suburbia | Les Zig
2 posts | 1 read | 2 to read
Casper Gray goes to bed a happily married man. He wakes up questioning whether everything is a lie. Life in suburbia holds few surprises for Casper. He and his wife Jane are still trying for a baby after seven years. His neighbours have their quirks to be navigated. And his job as a high school teacher, while satisfying, comes with its challenges. Every day is much like the one before - that is, until Casper makes a discovery that threatens everything he knows... As Casper's fears grows into obsessions, his world starts to unravel. Just Another Week in Suburbia is a story about love, trust, and insecurity, and the question of whether you can ever really know another person.

#BFCR2 #bookfitnesschallenge Weekly Check in @wanderinglynn @Hestapleton #bookdragons Well I am so happy I completed my book goal - especially since June was a reading slump month for me. This challenge has helped motivate me in July. Next week, I want to focus on my other goals since I feel they haven‘t been getting as much attention. The bunny pic was taken on my way to work.

Crazeedi Way to go hitting your book goal! Fantastic!🎉🎉👏👏 5y

Pickpick

Casper Gray is just living his very normal suburban life with no surprises when he makes a discovery one night that makes him start feel very uneasy. I read this in less than 24 hours because I had to know how it all turned out. And Les Zig makes you love the main character. You want to cheer him on and want him to stand up for himself. It‘s not a life-altering novel and that‘s okay. It‘s a real story with a lot of emotion and it‘s really good.

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled Sounds good!! 7y
