Each of us has an invisible bucket. When our bucket is full, we feel great. When it‘s empty, we feel awful. Yet most children don‘t realize the importance of having a full bucket throughout the day.

Maya‘s school uses the tagged book as a core philosophy in how to approach education. My bucket is full today as we celebrated her last day, as she heads to middle school a straight A student with a strong sense of respect & kindness towards others.💗

This book isn‘t spectacularly written or illustrated, but the message really resonates with kids. Almost all of the K-2 teacher‘s at my kids‘ school use it, and the concept is an easy one to grasp and remind kids of throughout the school year. It‘s a nice little parable.

I adored this book! “How Full is Your Bucket” is realistic fiction (RF) and tells of bucket that sits over each and every one of our heads. When someone is mean or something goes wrong, your bucket becomes less full. But when people are kind and things are making you happy, your bucket begins to fill up!
