1. Taking down the winter decorations and putting up Valentines Day stuff in the library. Planning displays is so much fun—it beats the heck out of grading essays! 😂
2. Tagged! Also listening to Vampires of El Norte by Isabel Canas.
3. Chill and funny (or so I‘m told)!

It‘s not #MasterHumphrey‘s clock, and there are no manuscripts stored in it, but I love the grandfather clock my uncle made. #dickensiandecember @jenniferw88

Tamra Beautiful! 6y
Lcsmcat @Tamra Thanks. He was a talented woodworker and I love having it to remind me of him. 6y

#DickensianDecember #MasterHumphrey‘s TBR but it‘s in one the 7 volumes of the 1910 edition that I‘ve collected so far so I just took it down and read the intro and was intrigued to learn it was part of Dickens first weekly, conceived as a framing device for Barnaby Rudge and the Old Curiosity Shop. Humphrey has a manuscript reading club and his clock is where they keep their manuscripts. @jenniferw88 thanks for your prompt - I learned something!

KVanRead Gorgeous! Is that a signed edition?! 6y
Blueberry It was signed but not by Dickens. And dated 1855 I think. It was the image from a Sotheby‘s ad. 6y
