This book takes place in between Steelhaert and Firefight. I highly recommend reading it in that order! This book as short as it was was still so fun and exciting to read! It was worth reading it!!! ❤

Loved the Reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson and was super happy to get a quick trip back into this world. David was back with the terrible metaphors 🤣 Fast paced and fun 😊 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

LeeRHarry Mmm I‘m wondering why it‘s called mitosis ? Says she the geneticist 😏 3y
mom2bugnbee @LeeRHarry I wondered the same! Says she the A&P professor. 😉 3y
Cathy_J @LeeRHarry and @mom2bugnbee Hmm .. without spoilers 🤔😋 There are characters in this series called Epics who have special powers, their names can give a clue about their abilities ..... 😁 3y
mom2bugnbee Now I'm intrigued! 3y

This short story was okay, not great. It felt like a chapter of the second book that just didn't make the cut.

This was more of a short story than a novella. The writing was as good as in Steelheart (duh! It's Brandon Sanderson). This book too had horrible, cute metaphors courtesy David, such as 'rhinoceros astronaut' 'police force would be worth less than a bagful of snakes at a dance competition' etc. See what I mean when I say David & his metaphors are made for each other?
I only hope Brandon continues with this running joke throughout this series.

The Reckoners are YA novels by Brandon Sanderson and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who likes fast-paced Books with lots of action and explosions.
This novella, set between the first 2 books of the series, was nice, but the paper copy was absolutly not worth the price (10€ for 50 pages of story)

Habitualrereader I've been wondering if I should pick this up. I wonder if it'll be in an anthology sometime. 7y
