Here's my book review for “Usher's Passing!“

McCammon is one of my favourite authors, so naturally I thought I'd like this one; I'm disappointed though as this one wasn't my cup of tea.
It has a weird disjointed plot line and none of the characters were likeable.
I just didn't care for any of it, I've loved every book I've read by this author so it came as a surprise that I didn't dig this one; it just dragged on forever.
Not up to the standard of his other works.
Did anyone take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free sale at Target last week? I bought Night Shift, The Rust Maidens, and December Park. Then ordered one book from amazon. Then I made the mistake of browsing eBay where I found a signed copy of Usher‘s Passing. Now I seriously have to put myself on a book buying ban. 😬
This book follows the fate of the descendants of Poe's #gothic tale, The Fall of the House of Usher.
Another great read by McCammon.

This was a creepy, wild ride. The story is a fictitious look into the Usher family that inspired Poe's Fall of the House of Usher.
McCammon delivers page turning thrills involving a haunted house, witches, a family torn apart by their secrets, and a scary urban legend about a creature in the woods who eats children.
