Young drugaddict. Easy to read.
Another good YA book.
“While I was in therapy, I thought that I was doing all that shit because I wanted to damage myself, but now I think it was chasing bliss. All those mock-highs I chased. It turns out the bliss I was looking for existed in books, coffee shops and pecan pie.” 📚
When I first started reading #Clean I wasn‘t sure what I thought. I found Lexi very hard to relate to. As someone who has never touched drugs or even been around someone who has I just couldn‘t relate. However once it got going and Lexi was into her therapy I started enjoying it loads more. Giving this one 4 stars due to the slow start but I highly recommend this amazing and powerful book.
Finished this earlier. Such a hard read, so powerful, so much to think about it was almost too much but I just couldn‘t stop reading it. Definitely for the older end of the YA audience. Great representation here - but would have expected nothing less from Dawson.
