pickUmbrella by Taro Yashima is a realistic fiction book which also won a Caldecott honor book award. This book is about a like girl name Momo, which mean "the peach" in Japanese; on her birthday she was gifted with some red rubber boots and an umbrella. On any given weather she wanted to use her gift, but her mother told her it wasn't the right time.
