Another book club dud. I hated it, y‘all. I hated it so much. A nothing plot + racism, sexism, ableism, fat misia, heteronormativity = trash. nope.gif

Finally starting tomorrow‘s book club pick. I‘m really not excited for it, but maybe it will surprise me. (Featuring a guest appearance by the bookmark my friend @deserthooker made me!)

This book just missed the mark for me. Something about it never quite worked. The characters were a bit flat, and the overall story didn‘t coalesce for me. I had to push myself to finish it.

Just started this book.. Any thoughts about this book?

Booknerd2 I read it and enjoyed. Nothing earth shattering. Just a cute book. But I like books with magic. 7y

GypsyKat Love this! And thank you for participating! I've loved seeing everyone's posts! Also I just read As You Wish a couple months ago! Actually I listened to it on Audible, but I loved it! I hope you enjoy it too! 😊💗 8y

I finished this a few days ago and was going to try to take some pretty picture with the book and yarn. But I've now passed the book on. This is a magical book about sisters who come together to save the family yarn store. I loved it! It reminded me so much of Sarah Addison Allen's Garden Spells which is one of my all time favorites!
