Rereading Harry Potter. What a great reminder....
Sweet and light. Just what I needed! Jenny Colgan is always great when I need an uplift!
My daughter and I are having a Girl‘s Night and seeing Legally Blonde, The Musical!
I really struggled with this book because I kept putting myself in the place of the characters. It was an amazing book and these characters are going to stay with me a long time.
I can‘t get into it for some reason, so I‘m giving up. I don‘t want to waste any more time. I hate bailing.
I have never heard Wide Sargasso Sea and have not read any of these. But if they were Jackie O‘s favorites, I may need to check them out!
Local library book sale! $2 per hard back and $.75 for paperback! And they look brand new!
I am Sitting here alone in the car waiting for my daughter to get out of swim practice and bawling my eyes out. I really hope no one I know sees me and thinks something is really wrong! I‘m not even half way through....
I had read that this book was “the breakfast club with a murder” which was pretty accurate. It was fun!
@ThatOneLibrarian Thank you so much! I can‘t wait to read all of them! And the bookmarks are so cute! #litsyswap
@robinb Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! I love the #litsyfamily!
I‘m enjoying these but as I‘m reading I keep thinking why am I enjoying this? It‘s silly and predictable but kind of like a car wreck....
Very much enjoying this series and looking forward to the next one!
I love these series of books! They are very sweet Novels but the addition of the dogs makes them so much better!
The beginning was jaw dropping but it slowed down a bit towards the end! Still a solid 4 Stars!
I really enjoyed this one and am looking forward to the next!
1. As a child: Little House series. As an adult: Harry Potter. 2. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. 3. Unbridgeable. 4. We were Liars. I hated that book and everyone seems to love it
This was awful. I can‘t believe I finished it.
I had a hard time getting into it. Once I did, I enjoyed it but it did take me awhile.
1. Figure skating
2. Lately, Lucy Dillon
3. April
4. Three billboards in Ebbing, MO
This audio book came in from a hold I had on it. I was so excited but had difficulty with it. There were too many names that I couldn‘t follow on an audio. I returned it and put the written version on hold. I still am excited about this book but I think the written words to be able to refer back to
Finished this today too! I really enjoy this series! There are a couple of series I still read, but only out of loyalty. But not this one, I‘m still in!
Wonderful book! I love this author! My dog not so sure about this......
1. Bed or big comfy chair
2. Usually bookmark.
3. Usually at the end of a chapter.
4. Drink tea, water, coffee.... ☕️
5. Nope.
6. Several. Almost always 1 audio and 1 written.
7. Everywhere!
8. Silently in my head unless I have a hard time understanding.
9. Yes, but I hate admitting it..... Sometimes I prefer audio because I‘m less likely to with audio books.
10. Keeping it like new to the best of my ability
11. Not usually
I enjoyed this but it was not what I expected. This book had been on my tbr since it came out but I considered taking it off recently due to the number of moderate to bad reviews I had seen. The main criticism I saw was that the “characters were unlikable”. I disagree. I saw a couple that was young and still figuring things out under a lot of stress and when people (or jobs) don‘t turn out the way you think they will. It was good, not great.
Waiting for my daughter to get out of swim practice. Hiding in my car from all the other moms so I can read! 😀
Finished this Saturday while taking down the tree. (Finally!). Loved it! The characters are so well created and explored! I can‘t wait for the next one!
Reading at soccer practice! On page 10 and already loving it!
I finished this a few days ago and was going to try to take some pretty picture with the book and yarn. But I've now passed the book on. This is a magical book about sisters who come together to save the family yarn store. I loved it! It reminded me so much of Sarah Addison Allen's Garden Spells which is one of my all time favorites!
Loved hearing more about these characters! Can't wait for the next one!
Wonderfully dark mystery! I can't believe it took me so long to read it! I can't wait to read the next one!
Finished this up today while waiting on my daughter at swim practice. Loved the book and Gilmore Girls! And love Lauren Graham!
A young boy meets a minister who is obsessed with electricity. They end up crossing paths through out their lives. Good not great!
Fascinating story about a man who steals rare books and the book dealer who is hunting them!
Loved this! It was such a nice, sweet break! It was also the first book I read and listened to which was thoroughly enjoyable!
Started this today and all I can think of is the Elton John song "Tiny Dancer"
"Jesus Freaks out in the streets..."
Finished my first book for 2017! One of the few sci fi books I enjoyed!
Loved this as well! I felt for both the sisters and it really reminded me that you need to always remember to be kind because you don't know what others are going through!
I posted about my struggle about reading this but never a review when I finished. This book really made me think. I loved it but didn't look forward to it. I have difficulty describing my feelings about it. But it stuck with me which a good book is supposed to.
Ugh! Hated this book! Ditched half way through after fast forwarding through a lot as well! I listened to this and the narrator was awful but the writing was like a textbook too. I'm a sucker for books about ballet and I was excited about it too. So disappointing.
I finished this in 3 days! It was amazing! You could just feel the crazy!
This was fascinating! I couldn't believe how non existent security was until 1973! It is not a comedy but I laughed in disbelieve and horror through the entire thing!
