Lumberjanes is the graphic novel I escape into when I need something light and fun. I love the crazy antics of the campers and I love that the story addresses serious issues while also just be lighthearted and enjoyable.

Great read for young girls that doesn't involve princesses or boys coming to rescue them. These girls can handle themselves. 😁

Enchanted_Bibliophile I've been meaning to read these for a while now. I have the first 3 volumes in e-format. Maybe now is a good time. 5y

So what is really weird about the series is how the character's illustrations keep changing every few graphic novels that I read. Really that would be my only gripe about the series. This book is about the Lumberjanes parents coming to the camp for Parents' Day. Trying to hide all the supernatural stuff from their parents will be super hard and of course there's a new adventure that the girls must face and conquer! 4 stars

That-Bookish-Hiker @Shley9225 I think there are 12 volumes which are just like 4-5 issues in a volume. But I think there are like 61 issues all together. 6y
Shley9225 @That-Bookish-Hiker the series is still ongoing though right? 6y
That-Bookish-Hiker @Shley9225 I am not 100% sure. 6y

Glorious as usual (not sure what‘s up with the current art style tho) my favourite part was Ripley‘s Abuela stallung for time by retelling/spinning the mythology of her favourite video game into fact.

Parent‘s Day at camp what could possibly go wrong? The only thing I did NOT like about this Volume was the artwork. I don‘t care for the bubbly stereotypical comic style artwork. The story is great as usual not as crazy as normal but good still. #malandmol4ever

DGRachel I miss the original artwork. I‘m on issue 40-something now, I think, and I really don‘t like the art. 😔 6y

Going to spend some time with the “hardcore lady types” before ManCub and I head to the grocery store (he has a snow day or rather ice day I assume because we got no snow).

#bookmail! I used my Christmas gift card from my husband. I replaced Illuminae, which a student “borrowed” a couple years ago. I loved Winger last year, so I‘m looking forward to Stand Off. Also, I got Vol. 10 of Lumberjanes and the original graphic novel of Lumberjanes. Yay books!
