House of Danger

Happy New Year! We rang in 2021 with a few too many gin and tonics and this board game based on this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure title. Highly recommended if you‘re looking for a cooperative game for one or more!

Bkwrm7 I'm a big fan of cooperative games and will have to look for this one. Have you ever played SpaceTeam? That's probably my favorite cooperative game although it's less than ideal for these pandemic times since it involves lots of passing cards. But it also has plenty of silly fun and it's very quick paced which can be good since some of my family has short attention spans. 3y

emtobiasz @Bkwrm7 Thanks for the recommendation! My family and friends group goes mostly for the Forbidden Island family of cooperative games, which are fun but tend to feel the same after a bit, so it was nice to discover a new style of one. 3y

My son and I started playing this RPG game based on the Choose Your Own Adventure classic. The designers were brilliant. We just finished Chapter 2. When we finish, I might just have to get the one based on "War with the Evil Power Master" next.

So I don‘t know who here likes the Choose Your Own Adventure books, or who likes board games, or honestly who likes both, but let me just tell you, this game is AMAZING! I bought it for the boyfriend for Father‘s Day and we are having so much fun with it! Definitely a great, bookish gift (even if it‘s for yourself) #bookishthings #games #chooseyourownadventure

Spring Break started this afternoon as soon as school was over! We stopped at the library for several books, and then came home and started playing this super fun game that arrived today!
