Another Xmas gift because I‘m a big fan. I‘ve watched so many reruns of Spicks and Specks that I know all the answers. 😊 . I‘m also a fan of the Last Leg because it makes me laugh and at the same time keeps me up to date with the weeks news in Britain. It was published in 2018 so it‘s not new. A great op shop find. We do op shop Xmas and I‘m always amazed at what is found. Adam has had an amazing life with more to come.

This was brilliant. Read by Adam Hills it is genuinely funny, inspiring and engaging. I not only wanted to listen to it but have sung its praises and rushed to make sure I added positive reviews. The audio book was absolutely the best way to enjoy this. (Warning there are a few swears so probably not the best choice for family listening).

This is a great read, as funny and uplifting as you'd expect. If you're as cynical as me the relentless positivity is a bit much, but I know that says more about me than about the author (I'm sorry but if I'd have been at that Prince gig, I'd have called Nick Clegg a wanker too). He has a lot of great stories though, and his optimistic generous outlook on life runs throughout.

arlenefinnigan I love the Last Leg, and it's great hearing how that developed. Highly recommend listening to this on audiobook, I really enjoyed the 'off-script' asides. 5y

arlenefinnigan @CarolynM it's loads better thank you! The physio exercises have worked a treat. I really like Adam Hills, The Last Leg is probably my favourite TV show. So far the book is confirming a lot of the worst stereotypes about Australians 😉 5y

CarolynM I'm very pleased to hear it - about you, that is. I quite like The Last Leg, it's better than anything he did in Australia, but I think that's because of Josh and Alex. 5y

Lizpixie I‘ve heard his jokes but never put it together till he took it off on tv (can‘t remember which show!) I think he‘s wonderful. And super cute too😍 6y

Sue I think probably very early in his career he did a bit about weird questions he‘d been asked about his stump. People are weird! @Lizpixie He seems like a super nice guy - my sister went through a phase of mildly stalking him when he did Brisbane shows and he would remember her each time. 6y
