I‘m aiming for 4 challenges this year... not sure if I‘ll finish them all or not, because I‘m also aiming to read more for fun too.

But my attempts will be:

1 - My own #OurSharedShelf challenge... I think I‘ve read about 1/2 of the books this group has picked & I‘d like to prioritize the rest. Maybe aim for 1 a month, try to slowly make some headway.

2 - #MtTBR I failed this challenge last year. I found my other challenges pushed me... ⤵️

Riveted_Reader_Melissa ... to read more eclectically, which is great, but it also steered me away from some of the books I already owned. So I set my sights a bit lower this year, trying to find the right balance. With that in mind, I picked #MtBlanc as my goal for 2020. 4y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa 3 - Booked2020 I enjoyed this challenge last year, but I fully admit that I didn‘t read them in season specific order last year, and I‘ll be free-wheeling it this year too, plugging in books I read for other things as I read them no matter when I read them. So it will be a more laid-back version of this challenge. 4y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa 4 - #Nonfiction2020 my own challenge, it encourages me to read more nonfiction, and this year specifically topical & timely nonfiction. 🤞 (edited) 4y
JazzFeathers I'm at tempting #Booked2020 too, though last year l spectacularly failed at it. I'm also attempting #ReadingEurope2020 4y

I‘m officially done with #nonfiction2019! It looks like political books were the biggest category with 9 of 25 choices. But there are also 9 memoirs here, including the political ones. 3 travel books as I prepared for our France trip. Still, a fairly eclectic challenge bingo board.

Thanks for picking great prompts, @Riveted_Reader_Melissa !

Suet624 Nice work!!! 5y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I still love your choice for something with animals! 😉🤣 5y
kspenmoll Impressive Barbara! Non fiction takes me time to read & digest.(although I love reading it) 5y
Megabooks Awesome job!! 5y
mhillis That‘s great!! It‘s so interesting seeing everyone‘s choices for each prompt! 5y
Simona 👏👏👏👍Nice! 5y
mreads Congratulations! 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @mhillis I agree. There‘s always a little room for interpretation! 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @mhillis I agree. There‘s always a little room for interpretation! 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @kspenmoll Thanks! Oh, I definitely read NF more slowly sometimes. I want to try and absorb it in a way I don‘t need to absorb fiction. The facts need to stick, but then they get pushed out of the way by the next book. 🤪 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Riveted_Reader_Melissa Thanks! And to think, I used to say NF wasn‘t for me ... how times have changed! 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @BarbaraTheBibliophage I used to say the same. I think school ruined it for me a bit and I steered away for a long time after that. 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @mhillis @BarbaraTheBibliophage I tired to make them very open ended, so there‘d be a lot of wiggle room and readers choice. So glad it worked! 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I really don‘t know why I didn‘t read NF. Maybe I just never really tried after graduation. Anyway, you did great with the prompts! 👏🏻👊🏻🎉📚 5y

#12inTwo completed.
One novella, two+ hours of audio, two graphic novels, an hour+ of reading to my kid, and some progress on a doorstopper.
Good night!
