Had a hell of a Monday, so I'm just getting around to posting this now. My phone battery died before I got a screenshot of my timer before it reset. Didn't make #12intwo, but I was within 15 minutes of #6intwo. That's pretty good for me. I've been too anxious today to do any reading. My husband took our 3 yr old daughter for a sleep study. She doesn't handle them well. Anyway, over the weekend I read the tagged and The Fall of Hyperion.

Well, I only managed 7 hrs of reading this weekend BUT, that‘s huge for me! I finished a book and got a good start on my book club book. Thanks for the challenge!

So I didn‘t make the #12intwo, but I made great progress reading The Mysterious Affair at Styles, only 40 pages left. Thanks for hosting @Samplergal

Loved this live reading of The Winds of Harmattan from the tagged book on the most recent season of #LevarBurtonReads. The conversation with author Okorafor afterwards was a special treat. I listened this weekend as part of my efforts towards #12intwo. #audioreads #diversereads #shortfiction

I did not make it to 12 hours but had fun anyway. I think my official time should be 10 hours 15 minutes. My husband woke me up at 10:30 last night after I fell asleep reading. I had intended on reading till I reached the 12 hour mark but my body had other plans. 😋 Great fun!

I finished my #12inTwo somewhere around 14 hours but my stupid timer kept resetting to zero sometime after the 10 hour mark. There has to be a better way.
On the plus side I finished my library book and a book of short stories.

My timer got reset so I‘m not sure how many hours I got in for #12inTwo but I know it was at least 7. Not too shabby I guess but I have yet to meet one of these readathon goals 😂
I did finally finish The Outsider and it was nice and creepy, just as I expected. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I enjoyed this book so much, I might buy a copy. There is not a great deal about Furness‘ inner life and many of his designs have been demolished. I‘m looking forward to going to Philly to see what‘s left. This book does a great job of walking the line of biography and critique of a creator‘s works. Clocked 13:27 for #12intwo

Calling it a night. I managed to get a lot of necessary reading done, finishing the top three books and reading some of the bottom three. Thanks for a reason to readathon this weekend, @Samplergal!
