The War Within: The Great God's War Book Two | Stephen R. Donaldson

I forgot to share: my dad gave me this for Christmas! I read the e-book back in August & loved it. Later I was saddened to learn it won‘t be released in paperback in the US (or Canada I think) due to its poor hc sales & poor pb sales of the previous book. The e-book & audio are to remain available & it will be available in hc for a while. But no pb, which sucks! Fortunately this hasn‘t discouraged SRD from working on book 3, The Last Repository!

Laughterhp You could always try and get his books on Book Depository! If he‘s from the UK! I think they sometimes have books not published in the US. 5y

I only completed 5 books but Sept was a great reading month: I spent lots of time with my #ReadingBuddy Minerva both indoors & out; I read more books by women than men; 2 of them were mysteries instead of my usual #SFF; I finally got to read SRD‘s The War Within after waiting for it for months; & now that my hubby has a 2 book lead, my #DiscworldReread is back on! #CatwithBook #CatsofLitsy #SelfReflection #SeptemberStats #SelfImprovementSept

I‘ve been wanting to read this ever since it came out about 6 months ago & was disappointed my library didn‘t have a digital copy. They finally purchased it! Book two of Stephen R. Donaldson‘s “The Great God‘s War” series is loaded up in Libby, waiting to be read 😁 I‘m so excited!

Book 2 of The Great God's War is the only release I've been looking forward to because it's a new book by one of my favourite authors and also, it's the only book release I actually know about. I was going to reserve the ebook so I could read it as soon as it comes out but my library hasn't purchased it yet. In the meantime I might reread book 1 in this series. #ANewChapter #MostAnticipatedRelease2019
