Not a book post but wanted to post that my beloved Griffin died suddenly on Tuesday. Found out in the last couple of weeks that he was having some heart probs, but he seemed fine until Sunday. Took him to vet early Tuesday, went to work, & found him when I got home. He was my reading buddy, often lying on the couch next to me or on my legs while I read. Chunky, fluffy, sweet, I‘m missing him terribly. #catsoflitsy
pick🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 WOW! This book was somehow everything I was expecting and everything I didn't know I wanted until I read it. I barely even know how to describe it, the ending is just rattling around in my head. The mystery was top-notch, and the action had me on the edge of my seat. The worldbuilding is delightful and the romance is amazing! Props to Sarah, I see why she's such a popular author 👏

pickI loved this. Dani returns to her grandfather‘s home only to find her old summer friend has become the local hockey star. No longer clumsy, short, & nerdy…he‘s a jock and hot. 🤔 Not sure if it was the small town Minnesota vibes that brought back memories or Painter‘s sense of humor but it made me laugh and smile. As soon as I was done, my husband had his hand out...and then he started laughing. So I guess that‘s two thumbs up. #catsoflitsy
so-so🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 This book was good, but not great. I think I understand why we read it for class, because it has a lot of symbolism and character references in the story. It's not really my kind of thing, but I appreciate the literature and I'm glad I read it. I will say that it is a nightmare reading this in a class of HS Juniors. #catsoflitsy

so-soI feel the same way about this one as I felt about the fist one, Strange Pictures. The idea is cool, the way it is done, with the pictures and such is cool, but the writing style is a bit weak, as well as the elaboration of the story. It‘s very far fetched at times. But the idea is very unique and the story is still gripping- I liked this one a bit more than the first so 3/5 ⭐️ (Kirby gives 5/5 for Pillow-qualities)
