Teva seems normal. But at home she hides an impossible secret: 11 other Tevas. Because once a year, Teva splits into two, leaving a younger version of herself stuck at the same age, forced to watch the new Teva taking over her life. But at 16, Tevas had enough. Shes going to fight for her future - even if that means fighting herself. More of Me is an incredible, unforgettable story of identity, friendship, love and sacrifice.

This was not for me. If you like typical YA and teen angst and the eternal self-obsession and love triangles then perhaps you will enjoy this book. It was by no means boring (the story is a bit insane though), but I‘m very much over this type of literature.

Trying to be open minded here, but this book is pretty much confirming why I don‘t like YA... Uninteresting love interests, hints at love drama and jealousy, every chapter starting exactly where the previous one ended, a premise that doesn‘t seem awfully thought through, etc. Still a bit curious about how it ends.

AlaMich Tuxedo kitty!! 😽❤️ 7y
Cathythoughts I‘m not a fan of YA either 😬 7y
Dolly I resist YA also. Endless descriptions of YA emotions, reactions, etc. that I don‘t share are a buzzkill to any book. There are exceptions. Love your reading buddy 😻 7y

Check out what our reviewer had to say about #MoreofMe by @kathrynevansauthor "Fans of books by @authorjess might like this, as well as fans of other contemporary/near future science fiction books. Whether you‘re a lover of weird science, or just want to go on a wacky ride, this book is for you."

Just a little #shelfie on a Friday! I have more and more wooden box "bookshelves", and I love them.

Surreal, explosive read. I couldn't stop thinking about it after I read it -- perfect if you loved BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER MEET ME by Leah Thomas, or for younger readers who liked THE FOURTEENTH GOLDFISH. Even if you're not into books about science-gone-weird, this book has so much: classic who-am-I and MUM-this-is-MY-life themes but given such fresh and bizarre treatment.

KellySonnack This sounds like such a great example of a cloning book (finally) doing something different! 8y
sheilamaverbuch Its special @KellySonnack ... Fought off a few dozen debut adult books to take the First Book Prize at the Edinburgh book Festival last year 8y

"They were writing an autobiography - probably the first one ever to be written by two people about their one life." Such an awesome quote; fab to hear Kathryn reading from this book tonight at Waterstones Guildford!
