I have never been less impressed with a true crime novel. Howard seems to harbor a crush on Howell throughout the book (going so far as to admit she asked him if he missed sex... something a married person probably shouldn‘t be asking a convicted serial killer). The information was repetitive and a good chunk of the book is spent telling us how much Howell hated prison food.
