A fun, easy read. It was a fitting end to the Ember series. I think the themes of light and darkness were prevalent. This was not only in the physical sense but also in the contrast of characters. This was the ultimate reemergence of man coming back into the light of knowledge after the darkness of the great Disaster. This is my May #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
A little behind on my may #bookspin and #doublespin. This is my May #doublespin and the final book of Ember.
Much better than the third book, Lina and Doon find themselves heading back to the City of Ember
This has been my absolute favorite in the series so far. I LOVE how them returning to Ember is a scary and unfamiliar experience. I loved watching Doon and Lina's relationship develop. I think the things that was most exciting is what the diamond actually was. There are so many things in this world that we all take for granted. And it's fun to read about people who are experiencing these things for the first time! #catsoflitsy
Book 3, I liked this book. It was a good ending to the series. I was sad they didn't actually find a city of gold. Hoping that somewhere they had built up. The ending was tied in a nice little bow.
I keep saying... "Only one more chapter..." less than 60 pages to go. ?? Anyone else do this? #UpAllNightReading
