Read this as book 1 of 2 in ‘The Christmas Brides‘ Anthology. Book 2 is ‘A Creed Country Christmas‘.

These are intertwined series that I‘ve neglected for too long. I‘ll have to sneak a few in in the New Year. This was a very Christmas oriented/themed story and I enjoyed it very much♥️📚🤓

Overall, it was a cute & simple short story set in the late 19th century. Lizzie is on a train home with her love interest when an avalanche derails the train. With the help of a handsome doctor, they try to survive until help can reach them. It was fairly predictable & I felt the characters could have been more developed. This is the 10th book that focuses on the Mckettrick family & it was easily read without reading the other books.
